Why aren't you writing in English?
Writing in another language freaks me out. You see, I'm all used to having full control over putting words together in a certain way, sentences pouring over the paper like shining black beatles. Writing this, is writing something with a limited set of words at hand, and that in turn means not being in full control. That's why my blog is entirely written in Swedish. I will never experience those black beatles when writing in English. And when it comes to words and text and poetry, I'm a perfectionist. I am writing in english on my booklog recent readings. That's because a vast majority of all books I read are written in english themselves.
What is it about, anyway?
I'm commenting on contemporary popular and unpopular culture, the things I live and breathe. Reading is one of my main interests, wheather I'm reading comics, Nobel Prize winners or magazines. I've been obsessed with pop music a long time. I've spent hours in front of the television, at the cinema and in front of the computer playing games. I refuse to make a distinction between »high-brow« or »low-brow« culture. I gladly consume everything, assuming it's in some way entertaining and rewarding. Although, I do tend to be more appreciative and supportive of independent record companies, movie makers and publishers rather than multinational, large-scale, »cares only about money«-corporations.Oh, and by the way: all HTML and CSS code is written by me. In notepad. I'm quite proud of it, to tell you the truth. I'm a genuine websnob.
also in english: recent readings, my booklog. And right here you can read about my trip to London. So far, that's it.
